Having a background in luxury retail, I was no stranger to the art of gift-giving. When I decided to step away from my retail career to focus on my family, my home and its aesthetics became a passion. Always having loved flowers, I set out to learn how to make beautiful arrangements.
Fast forward several floral-obsessed years, I was given a task to be the point person in picking up a group gift. As I went to look for a way to wrap the small jewelry box, all the packaging seemed inadequate for my dear friend. I set out to see how I could place it in a floral arrangement but elevate it and present it in an unexpected way. That was the beginning of Fleurs de Mad, meaning “Mad’s Flowers” after my daughter Madeleine whose beauty and love are the inspiration behind every piece that I create.
Flowers hold such an exceptional emotion and with each birthday or special occasion, I began to make these for my friends and family. Not only to give a beautiful gift but to see the absolute delight when a flower box is opened. Even if my loved one knew it was a flower box, it still had an element of surprise since each and every box is unique. Their experience set the stage for requests beyond my own circle and soon I was fulfilling orders for my community. Seeing how special their response was and the joy it brought me, I set a mission to start a service that could gift a moment of delight and beauty.

What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.
